The first Blondie movie was made in 1938 based on the comic strip of the same name, created by Chic Young. The screenplay was written by Richard Flournoy.
This was the first of 28 films based on the comic strip; Columbia Pictures produced them from 1938 to 1943, and popular demand brought them back in 1945. The Blondie film series came to an end with Beware of Blondie in 1950. Penny Singleton starred as Blondie, Arthur Lake as Dagwood, Larry Simms as Baby and of course, Daisy. This collection includes ALL 28 Full-Length movies of the series. Excellent Quality – Interactive Menus. These movies have been carefully transferred from film and are not copies of any other current collection available on DVD. This is a 10 DVD-R Set. It comes carefully packed with each DVD in a nice soft sleeve for protection and each disc is custom printed.
